Jasmine Makeba, Founder of Daughter of a Queen is a native of  Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa with a Bachelors Degree in History. Jasmine served as a Special Education teacher at McLain 7th Grade Center and girls basketball coach for three years.  She's currently working as a English teacher in Shenzhen, China. Her passion is women empowerment and fashion. During her time as a coach she realized the significance of being a positive female role model along and how her encouragement makes a difference in their lives. This led to the creation of  DOAQ- Daughter of A Queen foundation in 2016. Through fashion she plans on bringing women together.
